About · working concept

A collectible idea built around care, context and proof.

“Icelandic Lava”, “IcelandicLava.is” and “Own a Piece of Iceland” are working brand concepts. They have not been presented here as legally cleared final names.

The intention

Let the object lead. Let the record stay honest.

This Phase 1 prototype explores how a future physical collectible and a simple digital record might feel like one considered experience. It is a design and interaction study—not evidence of a sourced product, sale-ready packaging or registered ownership.

Selected visual direction

Organic form, one restrained fracture.

Phase 1 translates the reference into a temporary text wordmark and a small code-drawn crack symbol. A production-ready vector logo, final spacing rules and legal clearance are still needed.

Principles for the prototype

Designed to stay credible.

  1. 01

    Evidence first

Origin, geology, environmental impact and legal authority belong in the experience only after they are verified.

  2. 02

    Quiet craftsmanship

The design direction favours thoughtful detail, a restrained palette and a calm pace over souvenir-shop spectacle.

  3. 03

    Clear boundaries

Concept images, prototype dimensions, demo records and future features are labelled for what they are.

Current sourcing gate

No written permission for commercial lava collection has been granted.

Phase 1 therefore uses visual concepts and demo data only. No page in this prototype should be read as proof of provenance, collection authority, environmental status or legal ownership.
